MY STORYGraduated from University of California, Santa Barbara in 2021, Chelsie has spent her time exploring her creative pursuits before preparing to apply to graduate programs in Psychology.
Chelsie has written, designed, edited, and created art for Word Magazine, an award-winning arts & culture magazine based in Isla Vista, California.
She helped manage & create social media content for the UCSB Center for Mindfulness & Human Potential in hopes to share meditation practices with high-school students (@findingfocus.app)
After graduation, Chelsie helped research & create sample blog posts for Numinus Wellness, a Psychedelic Therapy company based in Canada.
She worked as a marketing copywriter for Sidekick LA, an Email & SMS Marketing Agency that helps businesses foster strong customer relationships .
Currently, Chelsie is working as a freelance writer & artist while volunteering at different organizations in Los Angeles. Her goal is to work in the psychedelic science field in a research, clinical, policy, or marketing capacity and help contribute to the space in any way.
Chelsie’s areas of interest include Psychology, specifically Neuropsychology, Psychopharmacology, and Abnormal Psychology, as well as Psychedelic Therapy & Research. One of her career goals is to work professionally in the Psychedelic Research space and help destigmatize & bring public awareness to the benefits of psychedelic therapy.
Chelsie’s favorite hobbies include travel, photography, drawing & painting, plants & gardening, and studying astrology. She hopes to continue sharing her creativity throughout her whole life.
